Ludo Circle is an Android game published by Sezarr (Mirza Games) ("we", "us"). This policy explains what the game does with your data.
Online rooms use Firebase Authentication (Google) with Anonymous Authentication. The first time you open Play with friends, Firebase creates a random identifier for your installation. It is not linked to your name, your email, your Google account or your phone. We use it only so the room can tell its players apart and so that only the players of a room can write to it. The sign-in is used only for online rooms: if you never open Play with friends, no sign-in is made.
Rooms are stored in Firebase Realtime Database (Google), in a data centre in Singapore (asia-southeast1). A room contains:
The name is whatever you type, and the other players in the room can see it, so do not use your real name or any personal detail. A room can be read only by signed-in players who know its code, and the list of rooms cannot be browsed. When you share an invite, the app opens the Android share sheet with a link such as https://mirzagames.com/ludo/join?code=ABC123; the link goes to the app you choose and only when you choose it. The website page behind that link keeps no record of the code.
Firebase and Google Play services also process technical data needed to run the service, such as your IP address, under Google's own terms. The app also uses Firebase App Check (Play Integrity), which lets Google confirm that requests come from a genuine copy of the app on a genuine device.
If the app crashes or hits an unexpected error, it sends a crash report to Firebase Crashlytics (Google) so we can fix the problem. A report contains the technical error and where in the code it happened, the app version, the phone model and Android version, the state of the device at that moment (for example free memory and whether it was in the background), the time, and a random installation identifier created by Firebase. It contains no name, no email, no room code and no game content, and it is not linked to your Google account. Reports are used only to find and fix bugs. Crash reporting is not active in test builds made by the developer. You can stop it by uninstalling the app, and you can ask us to delete the reports linked to your installation (see below).
From version 1.3.0 the game uses Google Analytics for Firebase to count how it is played, so we can see what works and what needs fixing. It records events such as "a game against the computer started with 3 players", "a game ended after 412 rolls in 9 minutes", "a room invite was shared", "the app was opened from an invite link", "online play could not be reached and the player chose a game on this phone", "the dice check page was opened" and, once ads are on, "an ad was shown between games".
At the end of a game you can tap "Verify this game" or "Copy game code". The game code holds the dice secret of that game and the list of rolls and moves, and nothing else: no names, no room code, nothing about you or your phone. "Verify this game" opens mirzagames.com/ludo/fair-dice/ with the code after a # sign, a part of the address that browsers never send to a website; the page checks the dice inside your browser and sends the code nowhere. A code goes anywhere else only if you paste or share it yourself.
Games against the computer and pass-and-play games are played entirely on your phone and send nothing anywhere. The app stores on your phone, with Android's app storage: your settings (sound, music, vibration), your last name, avatar and colour, the rules you chose, a saved game in progress, a count of finished games and your dice statistics, the board theme and dice style you picked, a note of which themes you have unlocked (and whether you own the Theme pack), and the code of an online room you are in, so you can get back to it. Clearing the app's storage or uninstalling the app removes all of this.
The app asks for no camera, microphone, contacts, location or storage permission. It uses the internet for online rooms and to send crash reports and usage statistics, and vibration only for the optional vibration setting. It does not use the advertising ID.
The app offers one optional in-app purchase: the Theme pack, a one-time purchase that unlocks all board themes and dice styles at once (they can also be unlocked for free by playing). It is shown only on the themes screen, never as a pop-up, and it changes only how the game looks.
No ads are active yet. The current version contains no ad code and makes no ad request. We plan to show ads only between games, never during a turn, using AppLovin (MAX), which works with ad networks. Before any ad is shown, the app will first ask for your consent where the law requires it (for example in the EEA and the UK). The ad SDKs can then collect your advertising ID, approximate location (from your IP address), information about how ads are shown and used, and diagnostic data, to show ads, measure them and prevent fraud. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in Android settings at any time. We will update this policy before ads are switched on.
Ludo Circle is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. The game has no accounts, no free-text chat and no real-money play. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has used online rooms, email us and we will delete the data we can link to the device.
