About Ludo Circle

Ludo Circle is a classic Ludo board game with fair dice you can check. Race your four pawns around the board, capture your rivals and bring them all home first. Play the computer, pass the phone around, or invite friends into a room with a code.

Fair Dice You Can Check

Every roll comes from your phone's secure random number generator, the one used for encryption: no hidden luck, no catch-up help for whoever is behind, and no help for the computer players, who only see the board and the roll after it is thrown. In a room with friends, each player's phone locks in a secret before the game. At the start the secrets are revealed and checked, and the dice come from all of them together. Every roll can be checked after the game, and nobody can pick the dice in advance. A Dice stats screen counts your own rolls and tells you whether they look fair, and after every game a Prove the dice card shows how your rolls compare with fair odds, so you can check them and share the card.

Play Your Way

  • Play with friends: create a room, share the code and play with 2 to 4 people on separate phones. Computer players can fill empty seats. Friends only, no account to make, and reactions are quick presets, so there is no typing
  • Play vs Computer: one to three computer opponents at Easy, Normal or Hard
  • Pass & Play: 2 to 4 players on one phone
  • Classic: four pawns each, roll a six to start and bring all four home. Quick: two pawns each, both already out, and the first to bring both home wins
  • Pick your colour, your name and an avatar

Play vs Computer and Pass & Play work without an internet connection.

House Rules

Play the standard rules, or switch each house rule on or off: a six rolls again, three sixes lose the turn, star squares are safe, a capture rolls again, reaching home rolls again, and an exact roll is needed to finish. With three or four players the game goes on until only one is left, so everybody gets a rank.

Ludo Online and Offline

Play Ludo online with friends in a private room with a 6-character code, or play Ludo offline against the computer at three levels, with no internet needed. It is a classic Ludo dice game for the whole family, a multiplayer board game for 2, 3 or 4 players: a 2 player duel, a 3 player race or a full 4 player game. Pass and play on one phone is local multiplayer for the living room. Pick a rule preset (Classic, Quick, Family or Tactical) in one tap, and set the game speed to Normal or Fast. Shake to roll is optional and off by default. The game has its roots in the royal game of Pachisi.

A Real Ludo Board Feel

A 3D die that tumbles onto the board, pawns that hop square by square, glowing pawns that show your possible moves, calm music and soft sounds. A short how-to-play guide teaches the rules, and when only one move is possible the game can play it for you (you can turn that off). Reduce motion gives you a quieter board, and a game you leave waits for you to resume it.

Calm and Friendly

No coins and no betting. Your games against the computer and your dice stats stay on your phone.
