In Ludo, each player has four pawns and takes turns rolling one die. Roll a six to bring a pawn out, then move it clockwise around the board by the number you roll. Land on an opponent to send their pawn back. The first player to bring all four pawns home wins.

  1. Welcome to Ludo Circle. Play against the computer, pass one phone around, or play with friends using a room code.
  2. Classic gives each player four pawns. Quick is shorter, with two pawns that already start out on the board.
  3. Your goal is to bring every one of your pawns once around the board and into the centre. The first player to do it wins.
  4. Tap the die to roll. Your pawns wait in the yard until you roll a six. A six brings one pawn out, and you roll again.
  5. After that, choose a pawn and move it clockwise by the number you rolled. Tap a glowing pawn to move it.
  6. Land exactly on an opponent's pawn and it goes back to its yard. Pawns on start squares and star squares are safe.
  7. A six gives you another roll. In our standard rules, so does a capture or bringing a pawn home. But three sixes in a row lose the turn.
  8. After a full lap your pawn enters its coloured home column, where it is safe. You need the exact number to reach the centre.
  9. Ludo Circle locks in each game's dice before the first roll, and a stats screen lets you check that the dice are fair.
  10. That is Ludo. Ludo Circle is free, and games against the computer work offline. Get it on Google Play. iOS is coming soon.
