The tool above works in your browser: your files stay on your device and are not uploaded. The steps below are for this tool.
How to rotate PDF pages
- Choose your PDF in the tool above. A small picture of every page appears.
- Press the turn button on each page that is sideways or upside down. Each press turns it a quarter turn.
- Press delete on any page you want to remove, such as a blank back side of a scan.
- Save the new PDF. Your original file is not changed.
Turning a page only changes how it is shown, so the text and pictures stay exactly as sharp as before.
Why pages end up sideways
Phones and scanners guess the direction of each page. A landscape table, a page placed upside down in a feeder, or a photo taken at an angle can come out turned. Upload portals and printers usually show the page exactly as it is stored, so it is worth fixing before you send it.
Smaller file after deleting pages
Removing pages a form does not need is the easiest way to make a PDF smaller. If it is still over the limit, compress it to a KB size.
Questions
Can I rotate just one page of a PDF?
Yes. Each page has its own turn button, so you can fix only the pages that need it.
Is my PDF uploaded?
No. Everything happens in your browser. The PDF stays on your device.
Can I undo a deleted page?
Before you save, yes: start over and your original pages come back. The original file on your device is never changed.
