These steps are for PDF Maker, our Android app. The app does the work on your phone; this web page does not touch your files.
How to convert a PDF to EPUB
- Open PDF Maker and tap PDF to EPUB in the Convert group, then choose the PDF.
- Check the Title and, if you like, add the Author.
- Under Chapters, choose At headings (chapters follow the document's headings) or Every 10 pages for a PDF without headings.
- Tap Convert, then save the .epub or share it to your e-reader app.
The book has a table of contents, the text in reading order, and the pictures of the PDF. The text reflows to fit any screen and font size. Pages that are only a picture go in as that picture, and scanned pages are read with OCR (Latin scripts and Devanagari).
How to convert an EPUB to PDF
- Tap EPUB to PDF and Choose an EPUB.
- Pick the Paper size: A5 (book-like) or A4.
- Tap Convert. The book's own styles and pictures are kept, and any script is shaped correctly.
Books locked with DRM (most bought from e-book stores) cannot be converted; the app tells you when a book is locked.
Printing an e-book
For a printed copy, convert to A5 and then use Booklet: the pages are arranged so the printed stack folds into a little book. Both converters run on your phone with no upload and no daily limit.
