Save a web page as a PDF on your phone

A booking confirmation, an article to read offline, a results page to keep as proof: PDF Maker saves a web page as a PDF on your Android phone, the way it looks when printed. It also turns text files into PDFs.

Get it on Google Play

These steps are for PDF Maker, our Android app. The app does the work on your phone; this web page does not touch your files.

How to save a web page as PDF

  1. Open PDF Maker and tap Web page to PDF in the Convert group.
  2. Type or paste the Web address, for example example.com/ticket.
  3. Pick the paper, A4 or Letter, and turn on Landscape for wide pages and tables.
  4. Tap the button to make the PDF. The page opens on your phone and is saved as it looks in print, over as many pages as it needs.

Tips for a good result

  • Web page to PDF needs an internet connection to load the page. Everything else happens on your phone.
  • Pages behind a login (bank, email, exam portals) cannot be opened by the app, because it does not have your login. For those, use the browser's own Print or Share option, or take screenshots and turn them into a PDF with Image to PDF.
  • Websites decide how their pages print; some hide menus and ads in print, some do not.
  • If the PDF is too large for an email or a form, reduce it to a KB size.

Text to PDF

Text to PDF turns a .txt, .md or .log file into a clean, readable PDF, with every script shaped correctly. It is handy for notes, logs and messages you need to submit or print. For Word documents, see Word to PDF.

Both tools have no daily limit and need no account.
